A second study of Wendy, seen this time in profile.

Her raised head and elongated posture give the figure a quiet confidence, while loose, energetic strokes of orange and ochre describe the body without containing it.

Areas of exposed canvas sit alongside runs, dragged marks and spontaneous lines, allowing the figure to move between definition and suggestion.

Part of Skegg's continuing exploration of the female form through gesture, movement and expressive mark-making.
