The figure draws inward, limbs crossing and overlapping as the body becomes a composition of angles, curves and interrupted lines.

Painted with loose, gestural strokes of orange and ochre, Fold balances areas of concentrated colour against exposed canvas. Runs and dragged marks remain visible, recording the physical process of making the painting.

The face is deliberately obscured, shifting attention away from identity and towards posture, gesture and the expressive language of the body.
